JAKARTA,
KOMPAS.com - Two league operator PT Liga Prima Indonesia Sportindo
(LPIS) and PT Liga Indonesia (LI) has devised a scheme to pay player
salaries. It
was stated in a meeting between Indonesian Professional Players
Association (IFSA) with two operators Affairs office, Wednesday
(10/04/2013 evening.
Chief
Executive APPI Simanjuntak Valentino explains, PT LPIS offering
termination settlement scheme 2 months salary plus 20 percent of the
value of one month's salary. Meanwhile, PT Liga Indonesia offers a repayment scheme with a system of salary payments for 6 to 24 months. However, according to Valentino, the salary repayment scheme not solve the problem.
"The
scheme of the LPIS cruel. So if there is a player whose salary is
behind 7 months, only paid 2 months salary only. If players accept, the
contract is considered complete player," said Valentino.
"Some
clubs in both IPL and ISL this season, has not given advances to
players and salaries are still much in arrears. Settlement salary this
season is still gray," he continued.
Similarly, Vice President of IFSA Bambang Pamungkas assess repayment scheme salary of PT Liga Indonesia is not unreasonable. "Repayment
of salary for 24 months is not rational. Should be no settlement in
writing. Player was tired of promises," said Bepe.
Meanwhile,
President of IFSA, Ponaryo Astaman, said it had met with the two
operators to discuss the league's player salaries repayment scheme.
"We
can not necessarily agree. We must first wait for a response from the
players that become our member. We hope there is communication with the
APPI with PT and PT LI LPIS about salaries," he said.
When
asked about the possibility of the player strike, Ponaryo said, "The
strike last step. Was probably a barrier negotiations with PT LI and PT
LPIS."
