PT Sriwijaya Air has officially taken over one of Batavia Air's left-flight routes, connecting Surabaya, the capital of East Java and Palangka Raya, the capital of Central Kalimantan.The airline will start flying the route, formerly served by the now defunct Batavia Air, on Monday, next week, Tribunenews.com reported on Saturday.
Agus Sudjono, corporate communication senior manager of PT Sriwijaya Air, said the airline would fly the route four times a week on Mondays,
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. "We're still testing this new route and we will fly everyday if there is good demand," he said. (
