In fact, the Ministry of ESDM has appealed not to use subsidized oil fuel (premium) in various ways since last year, especially for luxury car users. This urge is done in view of the luxury car owners belong to the rich. In addition, an appeal to the public is also delivered through the campaign by placing banners in gas station (SPBU) as well as advertisements on television.
Ministry of ESDM, he continued, will use a number of options in order to control subsidized oil fuel consumption. The option that he mentioned is by increasing parking tariff, and turning up the four-wheel vehicle tax. He added, the option to raise subsidized oil fuel prices is still likely be applied. According to him, it can be done in accordance to fuel price, which still continues to burden the State Budget.
